San Antonio River Foundation

Museum Reach

The section of the San Antonio River Improvements Project (SARIP) that stretches from Lexington Avenue to Grayson Street is the Urban Segment of the Museum Reach, which is called The Museum Reach. Click here to learn more about the Mission Reach mobile tour.

The San Antonio River Foundation raised private funds to enhance the Museum Reach with improved landscaping, the turning basin at Pearl, a restored pedestrian bridge, and fifteen new works of public art created by local, national, and internationally-known artists.

Integrating artistic expression with the natural beauty of the river itself, the Museum Reach is a vibrant daytime stroll that becomes more magical at night as the spark of artistic genius reflects off the rivers rippling surface.
