Outreach Specialist
An Outreach Specialist will help provide information about the foundation, its mission, projects, and membership to the public at various events and membership drives.
An Outreach Specialist should have an outgoing personality, be comfortable and effective in speaking to the public, be able to think on his/her feet, and be willing to work on evenings or weekends.
Outreach Specialists will help staff membership drives and large public events and must be knowledgeable about all aspects of the Foundation and the San Antonio River Improvements Project.
Requires significant training and orientation scheduled as needed to accommodate qualified volunteers.
Duties will take place primarily in the evenings and on weekends at various locations. See event listing for dates.
Outreach Specialists are needed year round for our various events. We ask for a commitment of 2 events per year and 2-3 hours per event.
Outreach Specialists will report to Karen Kimbell, Development Coordinator.
