Meeting Assistant

Objective: 

A Meeting Assistant will help prepare for and take minutes at meetings of the foundation’s various committees.

Qualifications: 

A Meeting Assistant should enjoy learning about the inner workings of a non-profit agency, have a working knowledge of basic office equipment, be detail-oriented, be able to take good notes, and bring a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities: 

A Meeting Assistant will help prepare materials for meetings of the Environmental, Art and Architecture, Fundraising, Marketing, and or Board Meetings and take and type up meeting minutes.

Orientation & Training: 

Requires minimal training. Half-hour orientation to the San Antonio River Foundation conducted as needed to accommodate new volunteers.

Time & Place: 

Duties will take place primarily during normal working hours, and occasionally during weekday evenings at the San Antonio River Foundation office.

Commitment: 

Meeting Assistant’s are needed year round, and we ask for a commitment of 4-6 hours per month.

On-the-Job Supervision: 

Meeting Assistant’s will report to Rhonda Farias, Office Manager.
