Paseo del Arte Documentary

A perfectly orchestrated public/private partnership that included the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, the San Antonio River Authority and the San Antonio River Foundation, these organizations built on the legacy of the #1 tourist destination in Texas and added 1.3 miles to the famed San Antonio River Walk.

Two years and $72 million dollars later, the River Walk has almost doubled in size and treats visitors to green spaces, lush landscaping, highlights of history, expansive walkways and amazing public art that punctuates this new stretch, which opened in May, 2009.

The San Antonio River Foundation and KLRN-TV collaborated to film this historic undertaking. Narrated by actor Tommy Lee Jones, viewers are invited to enjoy the story of San Antonio's beloved river and the new Museum Reach.
