Our Work

The San Antonio River Foundation is a driving force behind the artistic, educational and recreational enhancements to the San Antonio River Improvements Project. Our projects weave creativity into San Antonio’s cultural fabric, integrating artistic expression with the natural beauty of the river itself.

Along the Museum Reach, from the Lexington Street bridge to the Pearl basin, we selected, commissioned and installed 11 public art pieces and contributed to the enhancement of the pedestrian walkways and landscaping.

Work has already begun on the pedestrian bridges in the Mission Reach, and plans are underway for building Confluence Park, gateways between the river and the missions, pocket parks and more.

Tranquil resting points will punctuate the hike-and-bike trail along the Eagleland Reach.
