San Antonio Business Journal: Abernethy describes Foundation's environmental education vision

(September 19, 2008) SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Business Journal today ran an in-depth article about the Foundation’s new Executive Director Kim Abernethy, her focus on environmental education, and her deep background in nonprofit fundraising.

Kim was featured on the front page, and gave an in-depth look at the vision, progress, fundraising milestones, key sponsors and more.

“I’m a real believer in outdoor education and environmental education. As we progress, we’re going to have a wonderful outdoor classroom with this whole 15-mile river park,” Abernethy told the Journal.
