Friday, May 28, 2010The River Spectacular: Light, Sound, Color & Craft on the San Antonio River
To commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Museum Reach, the San Antonio River Foundation commissioned a book titled The River Spectacular: Light, Sound, Color & Craft on the San Antonio River to chronicle the design, construction and installation of eight public art pieces along the new 1.3 mile stretch of the San Antonio River Walk. The book was released on May 29, 2010.

Monday, January 18, 2010SAN ANTONIO - The Mission Reach project, an eight-mile stretch of the San Antonio River that extends from Lone Star Boulevard near downtown to Mission Espada, has received its first commitment for major enhancements from the non-profit San Antonio River Foundation in the form of a $2 million commitment that will be used towards the design and construction of four "Mission Portals" that will re-connect the missions with the San Antonio River.
