Jon K. Cochran

Jon K. Cochran is the San Antonio River Foundation Board Treasurer. In 1996, he joined Hixon Properties as Controller, and in 1999, was named the company's Vice President for Finance and Treasurer. He is responsible for the financial, managerial and tax reporting for the company and the related accounting systems. Prior to joining Hixon Properties, Jon was the Chief Financial Officer of Elton George & Company, a Texas-based specialty and surplus lines insurance company.

Jon graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in accounting and has earned the CPA and CPCU designations. In addition to his work on the River Foundation board, Jon has served on the boards of Child Advocates San Antonio and 04 Arts. He and his wife, Sarah, have two daughters.
