Frates Seeligson, Jr. is a San Antonio native who manages cattle operations in Guadalupe, Gonzales, Matagorda and Wilson counties. For the past two years he has served as Chairman of the River Foundation's Art and Architecture Committee. In addition to the San Antonio River Foundation board, he serves on the Board of the Texas and Southwestern Cattleraisers Association, the Texas Wildlife Association and is an active supporter of numerous arts and environmental organizations. Frates is married to Josephine Tate Seeligson and they have three children: Lyle, Tate and Genevieve.
