Edward E. Collins, III

Edward "Sonny" Collins is the Chairman Emeritus of the San Antonio River Foundation. He grew up in San Antonio and attended Alamo Heights High School. Upon his graduation from The University of Texas at Austin, he moved to New York where he worked on Wall Street for more than 40 years. In 2003, Sonny retired and returned to his home town. He has served on the board of the San Antonio River Foundation since its inception and has been instrumental in the foundation's success. He is the proud father of five adult children and seven grandchildren.
