President’s MessageIt is my privilege to serve as the President of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio River Foundation. My fellow Directors and I share a deep passion for the San Antonio River, and consider it our City’s most valuable treasure. The river ties our community together, a beautiful ribbon that links us to our rich historic past and will soon offer us and future generations a unique 15-mile linear space where we can celebrate that past and shape an exciting future. When complete, the San Antonio River Improvements Project will embrace the natural world, with habitat restoration and recreation facilities that complement the environment; and it will showcase world-class art and amenities as well. There will be something for everyone; we are creating the largest linear park in the United States for ourselves, visitors to our City, our children and grandchildren, and future generations. Please consider joining our efforts to create a truly world-class experience along the banks of the San Antonio River.
